Hi there, and welcome to DogHikes.uk. This is yet another blog about hiking, but with a little twist, or so I hope. The content here is about hiking with dogs.
My wife and I are the human parents of two dogs, Gambá and Pequi, and we love walking in nature with our fur babies. We usually research our destinations a little before embarking on a day’s adventure. We found that most of the information about hiking is somewhat inaccurate when we add two dogs to the mix. Walking times, track difficulty and existing facilities are often meaningless to us.
So why not up the stakes and make it into something else in addition to something we enjoy? We can help people find information about hiking with dogs around the UK, or at least that is the idea.
