This is where I register all the hikes we do with our dogs.
Woodchester Park is situated in Nympsfield, a serene village in Gloucestershire. The park is owned by the National Trust and is open to the public.
The beautiful, forested valley is home to many buildings, including the Woodchester Mansion, and within the woodland, you will find the old Boat House.

Continue readingWe went to Woodstock today for our weekend hike. More specifically, we went to Blenheim Palace park. It was a genuinely great dog friendly walk in Oxfordshire and the first easy hike documented in the blog.

For starters, we are now at the Thames Valley in the historic County of Berkshire in South East England, although part of Oxfordshire since 1974. No beaches here but the lovely countryside and beautiful woodland. This walk was also shorter – 5 kilometres.
